Automated Daily UN Sanction Scanning

Dear ClientScanner Users
We are happy to announce that Automated Daily UN Sanction Scanning is now live!
In light of the recent webinars and information from the FIC, any software should scan against the UN Sanction list when it is updated. To ensure compliance, all subjects loaded onto ClientScanner will undergo automatic daily screening against the United Nations Sanctions List.
The Automated Daily UN Sanction Scanning will take place in the early mornings so as not to affect usage on ClientScanner during business hours. With the implementation of the Automated Daily UN Sanction Scanning, a Notifications section was added to the Dashboard screen and to the side-bar menu, notifying the user of the Automated Daily UN Sanction Scanning results. See below -
Notification section explained:
- Total Scanned refers to the number of loaded subjects that were scanned.
- Results Found refers to the number of results found on the loaded subjects.
- Scanned On will reflect the date of when the Daily UN Sanction Screening was completed.
- If no results were found, the Daily UN Sanction Screening notification will have a green dot.
- If a Sanction Result was found on a loaded subject, the Daily UN Sanction Screening notification will have a red dot. You will be able to view the result from the Notification section by clicking on the actions button, and the result will also be saved in the subject’s Scan History.
On a loaded subject’s summary screen, there will be a Last EDD Scan date, which will be the scan date of when a full scan (UN Sanction, Adverse News and PEP) was completed when the subject was onboarded. The Daily Sanction Scan date will update daily after the Automated Daily UN Sanction Scan is completed. Both the Last EDD Scan date and Daily Sanction Scan date will reflect on the PDF export and the Client List Excel Export, specifically for FIC Inspection purposes.
Please get in touch with support if you require any assistance.
Happy Scanning!
Warm regards,
ClientScanner
